SAN ANTONIO - A food shortage at Taft High School on Monday was a one-time issue.
Officials at Northside ISD said it happened because the school's kitchen is under renovation.
Meals were prepared at two other schools and were delivered to Taft, but the school fell almost 100 meals short.
While in the process of having more meals delivered, the students who did not get food -- opted to go off campus to eat.
The director of the cafeterias has met with staff to make sure it doesn't happen again.
