SAN ANTONIO - Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire at a corner food store northwest of Downtown.
Firefighters were called to the Sam Corner Food Mart on Cincinnati, near North Zarzamora, around 2:15 a.m. Monday. Investigators say the fire spread through the building before eventually coming into contact with a water pipe that ended up extinguishing the flames.
No other buildings were damaged by the fire, and no injuries were reported. Some food and other items inside the store were damaged by the smoke.
