ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas -- A 6-year-old was shot and killed in an accidental shooting.

The Atascosa County Sheriff's Office is still investigating what happened at that mobile home on Post Oak.

News 4 WOAI was told 6-year-old Kenneth McKenzie Buscher was inside his aunt and uncle's home with his 15-year-old cousin when the shotgun went off.

On Monday, we learned one other gun inside the mobile home was also loaded.

Chief Deputy David Soward says, "We're talking about kids and that's why kids shouldn't have loaded guns without parental supervision."

On Monday investigators are still talking to the family and witnesses.  No charges have been filed.

How to help

The family has set up a fund to help with funeral expenses.

If you would like to make a donation go by any Wells Fargo location and ask for the Kenneth McKenzie Buscher memorial fund.
