SAN ANTONIO- It's already been a brutal flu season, the virus arriving much earlier and hitting harder. Health officials continue to stress the importance of getting a flu shot.
That demand has caused some locations to temporarily run out of the flu vaccine. But if you're persistent, there are still plenty of flu shots available.
Dr. Evan Ratner with Impact Urgent Care said, “We are fully stocked, we do have flu shots we also have flu tests so that we can help determine whether someone actually has the flu or they have a regular viral illness”.
Since there has also been a greater demand for flu medicines like Tamiflu that has been also hard to keep in stock.
Doctors recommend old fashioned washing of the hands for the best remedy to keep the flu away.
