SAN ANTONIO -- Five vehicles caught fire at the Dominguez State Jail on the Southwest Side Friday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 6500 block of Cagnon Road around 1:30 p.m. Friday. Officials say the fire started in a pickup truck and then spread to four other vehicles.  Some guards spotted the flames and rushed out with fire extinguishers to try to put out the flames.

Three of the five vehicles were total losses. All of the vehicles belong to jail employees.
