NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Two people were injured after an apartment complex caught fire early Wednesday.

Fire crews were called to the 1000 block of Linde around 2:40 a.m. It took firefighters about 25 minutes to bring the fire under control.

One firefighter had to be transported to New Braunfels Christus Santa Rosa Hospital for burns. A resident also had to be taken to the hospital for breathing and asthma problems.

The Comal County Fire Marshall and New Braunfels Fire Department are still investigating the cause of the fire
