Can you imagine what her house smells like? You can't give the love and support (vet first of all) to that many pets. I have three dogs and it's like having kids. They have to get shots, checkups, testing, teeth cleaning, oh, and food etc. etc. It can break the bank! Wanna bet these animals haven't had their shots? With that many cats there is no way one individual can keep up with the "sand" boxes. The cats have probably made the whole house a kitty litter box. Ugh. Is San Antonio going to step in and enforce the ordinance? Probably not. It's just on paper.

City of San Antonio Ordinance - "A maximum number of eight (8) cats or five (5) dogs or an aggregate number of eight (8) may be permitted at a residence within the City limits." This is the rule for in the city, they shouldn't have had that many in the first place in one house. I'm glad they were able to rescue that many of them and its sad that they lost any, but come on that's too many under one roof.
