NEW YORK (NBC News Channel) -- Who doesn't like a good deal? And who doesn't "love" a freebie?
Experts say there are ways to search online for freebies ranging from lip gloss to gym memberships.
If you know where to look, you might be surprised how much merchandise you can get for free, especially through social media and the internet.
"Facebook groups and us are a fantastic way for businesses to promote their brand and increase their visibility of new products," said Amy Edie of Totallyfreestuff.com and TopSavings.com.
Amy says you can get a free Bobbi Brown crystal lip gloss at Macy's or you can go to a Nordstrom and pick up a juicy tubes lip gloss from Lancome for free. All you need is a copy of Seventeen Magazine.
"Seventeen Magazine has ads on specific pages," Amy explained. "And you just take that into the store and show them, and they'll give you the items for free."
If you wear contact lenses, how about a free sample of Dailies lenses by going through their website Dailies.com?
"All you need to do is fill out a simple form and enter a few questions about your contact needs and which brands you currently use, and they'll send you a trial certificate for a pair," said Amy.
You can get a free one-week pass to Curves gym by going to CurvesInformation.com too, and there's more.
"A free therapeutic sulfur mask from AcneFree. All you have to do is like their group on Facebook, the thumb, and they'll send that to you for free," added Amy.
