Female to be Executed in TX

Twister is right, the death penalty isn't administered equally. More whites have been executed than any other race, and that's not fair. Anyway @Stabzz, the definition of murder is the UNLAWFUL killing of one human being by another. If a father kills his daughters rapist during the act, it's defense of another human and not unlawful. If a father kills his daughter's rapist for vigilante justice after the fact, then yes he's a murderer and must face the same penalty. And by the way, I'd be the first in line to kill my daughter's rapist (if that happened), and I'd accept the consequence. I also believe rapists should be given life (child rapists death also), so in my world a father would not need to off the rapist because justice would be served properly.

She's been given a stay with a new execution date of April 3.

@Twister, it would be a deterrent if punishment was swift and painful. IT is not and lawyers keep death row inmates alive for decades and get them off on technicalities.

The death penalty doesn't deter crime, doesn't "send a message," doesn't save money, isn't administered equally and recipients have sometimes been found innocent after the state murdered them. The only thing it does is makes our savage brain feel better about serving justice to someone we don't know.

Open up the flood gates. Lets line all these types up and pull the switch!

Im real suprised nobody is crying racism or she has an IQ of a 5 year old. You kno the clasic line(" Your Honor my client didnt know what she was doing". If she didnt know whats shes doing then she wont know whats being done to her. Put her in the electric chair and tell her its a carnival ride.

@Baven2: Just checking with you... So if a father kills his daughters rapist (still considered murder), he should be put to death? I doubt that is what your intention was but careful when saying "all". @Mack: So what should we do to teach people that something is wrong? Give them a place to live and eat off of others hard earnings? Give them a sit down and say, "you know what you did was wrong, right?" Look at other countries who enforce laws and punish accordingly. Why are their homicide rates lower?
