SAN ANTONIO – Signs posted on doors in buildings around Northwest Vista College are alerting students and staff about the most recent campus crime. A female student reported being assaulted by two suspicious men.

The alleged attack happened inside the Palmetto Hall Building last Wednesday morning, according to Alamo Colleges Police. Investigators say the victim was using the ladies restroom when one of the men assaulted her.

“It’s just pretty scary to me,” said student Natalie Rodriguez. “We just have to stay more aware.”

Students say they are more guarded since last Wednesday’s assault. Yet, some admit they are still wondering if the two mysterious men will strike again.

‘It kind of just makes me wish I had someone to walk to class with,” said student Maxlyn Vasquez.

Police are releasing a very vague description of the suspect, right now. They say the alleged attacker is described as a white male, late 30’s –early 40’s, 6’ tall, heavy build brown hair, and small scar along his right eye.

Officers say that man was accompanied by a white male, 6’2” tall, mid to late 30’s, wearing a dark security guard uniform, with a gold-colored badge and name tag which read “SWANSON.”

A spokeswoman for Northwest Vista College says safety is the school’s highest concern. She is reminding the community Courtesy Patrol is available to escort students through campus.

Anyone with information about the assault is being asked to call Alamo Colleges Police at (210) 485-0099.

Online college- it's where it's AT!!!!! I stopped attending NWV this past May. Thank the Lord I did- this is not the first time it has happened there, nor I am sure at other schools. Why are people so disgusting? Swineson is more like it, the nasty pig...

Nothing to see here folks. Move along. Just another crime in a sheep pen, I mean gun-free zone. My wife has a CHL, and, because of ignorant Texas laws, was not allowed to carry in school buildings. I would have gone ape **** if she was attacked after being temporarily disarmed by the State. Allow concealed carry in campus buildings, Texas!! P.S. Concealed carry is allowed ON campus...just not INSIDE the buildings.

Is there evidence of a rape?

No comment on whether there is a security employee at the college named "SWANSON"? Not saying he is, but wouldn't you get a comment from the college about that if you were writing the story? Most of the stories posted online generate more questions than they answer. Are we being spoon-fed in hopes we will watch TV? Translation: get more eyes watching the expensive commercials rather than skipping over the ads on a web page.

I have never heard of two rapists working together like that. How odd and completely, utterly scary. I hope they catch them soon.
