SAN ANTONIO -  Honda is recalling 250,000 vehicles because their brakes can suddenly kick in without warning.

The models affected are the Acura RL and MDX models and the Pilot SUV.

The vehicles were all made from March 2004 through May 2006.

So far, no accidents have been reported.

Honda dealers will install a new part at no charge.

Affected owners will be notified by mail in mid-April
