PHOENIX -- What would you do if you were driving down the road and saw a man dressed like a terrorist and carrying what looked like a grenade launcher? A man and his son wanted to know the answer to that question and to find out how quickly police would respond.
The man and his 16-year-old son came up with the plan in Phoenix, just days after the movie theatre shooting in Colorado. They wanted to make sure they were safe. So, the 16-year-old dressed up like a terrorist, complete with a fake grenade launcher, and walked the streets while his dad filmed him.
His dad says it took police 15-minutes to respond. However, police say it took only about 3 minutes and SWAT was on the way.
Police arrested the father. He faces several charges that could land him in prison for 45 years if he's convicted.
