SAN ANTONIO - A scary situation for a family on the Northeast Side.

Just before 10 am Sunday morning Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies say someone tried to kick-in the front door at a home on Sunlit Trail. We're told the mom called 911 and the son fired one shot through the door.

The suspect then took off after firing his gun.

No one was hurt and deputies are still looking for the suspect.

Sir, if they are trying to limit magazine size, they are taking something away. If they want a universal registry, they are taking something away (bc, criminals never will register anything - including a rock in their hands). So, we are having a great conversation. Protect yourself ... the loons are out in broad day light empowered bc they think we are too scared to rise up against them. We do not want our neighborhoods to become Oakland or Chicago ...

In part, @scoutout, I would agree with you, except that the CINC and his cronies are TRYING to take away our Second Amendment rights, in defiance of the 2nd Amendment and the 2010 Supreme Court decision. They hold themselves above the Constitution, and the will of the people. Cuomo is trying to do it in New York, and it’s a huge waste of taxpayer funds when the challenges have to be made and answered to slap him down. I believe that’s part of what @JJTX99 is trying to convey. Furthermore, @scoutout, what makes you think that hating an individual translates to a lack of objectivity? That’s a dumb argument. I loathe rattlesnakes, but am objective enough that I leave them alone, unless they’ve in my yard, at which time, I’ll hack them to bits with a (pardon the expression) hoe.

JJTX99. No one is taking anything from you. You can not give an objective opinion about anything since you are on record as hating the CINC. Now if there was legislation to take guns out of misinformed scared paranoid people like youreself, then I would be all for the bill. Do us all a favor and go educate yourself about the second amendment and the and the 2010 decision that states "The Second Amendment provides Americans a fundamental right to bear arms that cannot be violated by state and local governments". So AGAIN, come down off of your teabag frenzy. No one is going to come and take anything from your hands nor your lands.

Liberal politicians like Cuomo in New York who want to strip everyone of their right to keep and bear arms don't have to worry about anyone kicking in their front door. They have taxpayer funded heavily armed security watching over them 24/7/365. But make no mistake about it if they did have to worry about such a thing they would be packing firearms big time.
