SAN ANTONIO -- A family of five is safe after a fire destroyed their home.

Fire crews were called to a home in the 700 block of Fulton Avenue, just north of Downtown, around 1:45 a.m. Thursday. Firefighters say a faulty television sparked the fire. Everyone in the home was able to get out safely.
