SAN ANTONIO -- Family members are driving around with magnetic flyers attached to their vehicles to help police find an the man they believe is responsible for the death of 21-year-old Luis Gonzales.
According to investigators, Gonzales was shot and killed on the West Side after an argument on July 15.
Jennifer Alvarez, the victim’s aunt, said about a dozen relatives have side-by-side photographs on their cars and trucks showing Gonzales and 20-year-old Eduardo Sanchez.
Alvarez told us the two were best friends at one time and now Sanchez is a suspect in the murder of Gonzales.
"Just knowing he's out there, living his life like he didn't do nothing," expressed Alvarez.
It was difficult for her to find the words to explain how she and other relatives feel. They are still grieving and want to help police arrest a killer.
Gonzales left behind a baby boy and heart broken relatives who want justice.
"We hope he gets caught so it can bring peace to my brother-in-law and everyone that's hurting," she stated.
The family is hoping someone will see one of their flyers and recognize Sanchez.
