SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio family's battle with the Northside Independent School District wages on.
Andrea Hernandez's parents do not feel their daughter should have to wear a radio frequency ID badge and have said it violates their religious freedom. A temporary restraining order they had against the badge has expired. The district says they will not expel Hernandez. They are waiting for a decision in the case.
Hernandez went back to school Monday without the RFID-equipped badge.
We will keep you updated on the case.
