What We're Tracking: Looks like some rain by Friday What's Happening: A steady stream of clouds and high-level moisture will set the stage for a better rain chance by Thursday night into Friday as a disturbance moves in from Mexico. The system should be relatively weak so heavy rainfall totals are not anticipated. Clearing will occur to begin the weekend but another fast-moving system could get us our next shot of rain as early as Sunday evening or early Monday. Temperatures will average just a smidgen below normal for this time of the year but much warmer air is expected to move in next week! Your Forecast: Tonight: Cloudy & cool. Low: 43 Wind: ENE 5-10 Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. High: 60 Wind: NE/SE 5-10 Friday: 40% chance of rain. Low: 48 High: 60 Wind: ENE 5

If you're a science teacher you might want to record my story on Cloud Seeding, tonight at 10. Show it to your class.

What We're Tracking: Rain later in the week What's Happening: Although there'll be a little sun tomorrow, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies continuing with our next rain chance coming up by Thursday and Friday. Right now the system looks like it'll weaken as it moves through so severe weather is not expected and rainfall totals should be light. Any showers Thursday and Friday should be gone for the weekend but another weather system is expected to move in by Monday with another chance of rain. Although no extremely cold air is expected anytime soon, temperatures will continue to run a few degrees below normal through early next week. Your Forecast: Tonight: Mostly cloudy, cool. Low: 45 Wind: NNE 5-10 Tomorrow: Partly sunny. High: 62 Wind: NNE 10-15 Thursday: Mostly cloudy, 40% chance of rain. Low: 43 High: 56 Wind: E 5-10

There information is wrong. They probably use Pollen.Com, we dropped them years ago. Besides, you don't need Benadryl for a "trace" of Mountain Cedar. Right now it's mold and ash, get tested and see if you have issues with those.

KABB Fox news weather says there is still a trace of Mountain Cedar pollen, why isn't that included in Woai's pollen counts? I still need to take Benadryl so I knew it was still in the air.

What We're Tracking: More rainy days ahead What's Happening: It's hard to believe we're in a drought, but despite the rains of the past several weeks the drought continues. However, we're putting a dent in it and the prospects look good for even more rain over the course of the next 7-10 days. The aquifer is up nearly 8 feet since the beginning of the year and soil moisture conditions continue to improve daily with rain, cool temperatures, and little evaporation. The next rain event we're tracking should arrive later this week with yet another one due by early next week. Just FYI, the long-range computer models hint at a winter storm taking shape somewhere in central Texas just after Valentines Day next week, something that bears watching! Your Forecast: Tonight: Evening showers, otherwise cloudy & chilly. Low: 43 Wind: E 5 Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, not as cool. High: 60 wind: E 5 Wednesday: 20% chance of showers. Low: 45 High: 58 Wind: NE 10-15

Thanks for letting me know, I'll check with our internet folks and find out why the satellite isn't updating.

12yroldgirl is right. The regional satellite is extremely outdated. However, it's even worse that he states. It's for January 3, 2012 (3 January 12).
