SAN ANTONIO - The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers about buying counterfeit adderall on the internet.

The drug is used to treat ADHD.

Lab tests show the counterfeit adderall contains the wrong active ingredient and are potentially harmful.

The fake adderall pills come in a blister package, have misspellings on the label, are white in color, and don't have markings.

Authentic adderall pills are orange or peach in color, have the letters "DP" on one side and the number "30" on the other -- and are always packaged in a 100-count bottle.

Perhaps we wouldn't be subjected to fake drugs if the FDA quit trying to limit the production of the real thing!!!
