WASHINGTON -- If you're looking for love online, you may want to take a cue from Taylor Swift and "Never, ever" get into sexual conversations online.

The FBI this week put out a nationwide warning about a new dating extortion scam. Investigators say unsuspecting victims start talking to someone on dating websites. The two eventually start sending sexual messages, and, before you know it, the scammers post those messages, your name and your picture on a website saying you're a cheater.

The extortionists then want you to pay $99 to have it all removed. But, even if you pay, they never take down any of the material.

It's not known how many people have fallen for it. The FBI says women over the age of 40 who are divorced are the usual target.

This just goes to show you that if you act like trash anywhere, even online, it's not a secret. Even if they pay $100, and it does get taken down, it's still there for Jesus to see, and he's not going to take it down. There's no place in the Kingdom of Heaven for women who act like hussies. If you want to meet a man, go to church and meet a decent Christian one.

I met someone online that I met up with at a local church the following week. That worked out ok. But having an online "relationship"? That's like having cake without any fat or carbohydrates. It's not for real. Also, you don't have any idea who you are really talking to.

Bat.......how are you able to really size someone up over the internet? Maybe you ended up meeting them in person and found out that way? I'm curious. Thanks

I've met a couple of VERY nice guys on line. I guess it depends on where you look for them.
