SAN ANTONIO - Several people were forced out into the cold when an exhaust fan sparked an apartment fire early Wednesday.
The fire started around 2:40 a.m. in a unit at the Amberton Apartments on Randolph Boulevard. The fire was significant enough that some of the neighboring units also had to be evacuated. Fire crews eventually had to dig into the attic of the apartment just to make sure the fire was completely put out.
One person was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
