New Braunfels -- New Braunfels Police Department called in the San Antonio Police Department's Bomb Squad after an aggravated robbery Monday.  According to NBPD's Captain John McDonald, a Hispanic man in his 30's with a goatee robbed the clerk at a store in the 900 block of South Seguin Street using a handgun.

Witnesses told police that the suspect left a suitcase in the store during the robbery and told the clerk not to touch it.  Due to that, NB police called in SAPD's bomb squad to assist.  They eventually learned the suitcase was empty and did not pose a threat.  No one was injured in the robbery, according to Captain McDonald, and it's not known how much money the man took.

If you have any information that could help them nab this guy, you're asked to call New Braunfels Police at 830-221-4100 or Comal County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 830-620-TIPS.
