SAN ANTONIO -- Crews had a mess to clean up after a dump truck took out power lines at a Far Northwest Side intersection.
News 4 San Antonio was told the driver had been dumping items down the street around 11:00 a.m. Monday, when he drove away without pulling up the lift on the truck. The truck snagged some power lines and took out traffic lights at a 4-way stop at FM 1560 and Galm Road and took down a pole at the corner and dragged it.
Crews had to put up stop signs, so they can cut the power to repair the damaged lines.
No injuries were reported, but the dump truck driver will be cited.
