I say 111% blame on the police. They had the perp's license plate, they had everything they needed. The man had hundreds of pounds of marijuana inside! What did the morons think, that he'd just pull over? Once he started fleeing, it should have been sort of obvious what was going on. They should have stopped the chase & tracekd him via helicopter. Would that have been so difficult? A 3-year-old. THREE years old. Good gosh. That is just despicable, what happened here.

the problem with america, is that the justice system is screwed up. if a person in caught on camera killing someone, this idoit who killed a child, should just be put to death right away. to hell with the trial. bring back the chaingains, make inmates work for the rest of their life. if any libtards or democaps disagree, they should share the cell with an imate for just one week.

Wow. Despicable human being. That's fine if you are a lowlife druggie supplier, but to be so brazen as to involve the innocent public because you think you're OJ in a white bronco when you're not and your driving skills probably suck even on a non police chase day is NOT okay. Now this poor child lost his life because you failed to jump on the "I'll grow up to be a responsible hard working citizen" train.

50% blame on the perp, and 50% blame on the cops. It takes 2 to make a chase, and personally I'm not comfortable potentially being collateral damage of a weed bust. If the cops weren't so determined to get a conviction to show their mommies, maybe that 3-year old wouldn't be dead. You can always come back and bag your perp, it's not worth chasing people into unsuspecting traffic. Poor kid, his life is now just collateral damage to cops as they were protecting us from pot. I saw the way those cops were smiling, it's sickening.

while driving I lower the volume on the radio and look carefully at intersections since Seaton killed his own colleague. as I stated earlier I feel for the family...can't imagine! but the police do need to be more careful and yes, there are helicoptors that could have been at the ready. just yesterday about 5 passed over my neighborhood looking for who knows? anyway, one never knows when we or a loved one leaves this earth. sad, sad and needless.

Words cannot express the sorrow and anger that I feel right now. A family is torn apart by this IDIOTS actions. I hope the jury convicts this POS to death. My condolences and prayers to the family, may your little angel rest in peace.

Why is someone asking about if the kids were wearing a seatbelt, did you see that car? It was MESSED UP!!! I don't think wearing a seatbelt or not would have saved who ever was at thte point of impact, one whole side of that car looked caved in, poor family! And yes I do support wearing seatbelts, I just think it's a moot point for an accident this bad.

Here's a question - Were the children in carseats/seatbelts? Probably not and maybe it wouldn't have made a difference but the law is the law. I see too many children sitting in the backseat climbing all over the place and yet if their child dies in an accident they are crying. (yes it's sad that the child dies, however, YOU the parent, more than likely have prevented it by putting them in seatbelts.)
