SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was injured in a rollover crash along Loop 410 on the South Side Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on the access road of Loop 410 near Commercial Avenue. Police say a Toyota Corolla was traveling at a very high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway, hit some nearby railroad tracks and flipped over and rolled.
The passenger in the car, a 22-year-old woman, was taken by EMS to a hospital in serious condition.
The driver was not at the scene when police arrived. Officers searched but did not find any other people in the area. The injured passenger, however, was able to give officers the name of the person she said was driving the car.
