SAN ANTONIO - A driver is facing charges after his truck crashed into a pole on the South Side early Wednesday.
Police say a pickup truck hit a vehicle and then a utility pole at Pleasanton Road and Southwest Military Drive around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. The driver and a passenger in the truck ran away, but police eventually caught them.
Officers said the driver of the truck had a broken nose and was taken to Southwest General for treatment. He now faces DWI charges.
The driver of the vehicle hit by the truck was not hurt.
