SAN ANTONIO -- A man was killed when the truck he was driving slammed into two highway barriers on the Northwest Side.

The accident happened around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 10 near Parkdale. Investigators say the driver of a Toyota Tundra tried to pass another vehicle, but clipped it. The driver of the truck then lost control, and the truck crashed into barriers on both sides of the highway.

The driver of the Tundra died at the scene. His name has not been released.

The other driver was not hurt.

Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash.

At this point there are only two posting which are insensitive and are the minority to those that believe in the common good of humanity and the happenstance of chance. The reason the majority of the population watches local news is to witness the extreme questionable event which make them feel better about ourselves because they are not involved so it makes it ok to blame whoever and blab out reckless opinion without consideration for all those indirectly involved. My friend would wish you and your family a very safe and blessed holiday….. I will miss my friend.

First of all the vehicle was a toyota, speeding and passing should be done in a slow safe manner. Idiot!!!

haha wish this would happen to more people that are not paying attention to what they are doing and try to make their exit at the last second. Sounds cruel I know BUT they put the other drivers at risk, if they are going to hurt anybody it should be themselves.
