SAN ANTONIO -- A 30-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving slammed into a concrete wall Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at Frio and Poplar, near the lower level of Interstate 10. Police say the driver of a white Ford Mustang was going too fast and apparently lost control of the car. Investigators say the Mustang came off the exit and hit a wall.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Why do they call these types of crashes accidents? Are they? Not really. Driving too fast is not accidental. I'm glad he didn't take anyone else out with this foolishness. I feel sorry for this fellow’s family, but Nature's Self-Pruning Tree has done its work, yet again. (sighs). So sad…
