@guest 23 - THANK YOU!!! @elsvg - Just because someone has a wreck does not mean they're a bad driver. Do you not make mistakes? I'm so happy for you that this person was not your friend or family member. If they were, I'd feel extremely sorry for them because of your obvious compassion for others. Pat yourself on the back! @Michael T - I have myself on occassion not buckled up as I'm sure we all have at one point or another. "I'm just going around the block." "I'm just going a few miles..." It was simply an error in judgement. I think a seatbelt ticket would be the least of his concerns after totalling his vehicle. @upyours808 - Just because someone is on the streets after midnight does not mean they are drunk. Just because they have a wreck does not mean they are a bad driver. I do not drink, but I am out alot at night and head home many nights at two or three in the morning from the office, from a friends', from a family member's house! It doesn't mean I deserve to have a wreck because I'm out after midnight. EVERYONE - Where is your compassion for what this man is going through and what his family and friends are going through? I hope that you don't get a phone call that brings your world to a screeching halt. I hope that your families and friends are safe and sound and not in a hospital. Compassion....Mercy.....Grace.....Empathy....Understanding.....Love.....If we all exhibit a few more of the good qualities that God has shown us time and time again, then maybe our communities would be a better place to live.

Its sad how ppl can quickly place judgment on others! If he was drunk or didnt have a seat belt on, Im pretty sure the news would have mentioned it like they always do & from what I read, it was never mentioned. Perhaps there was something in the road he was trying to avoid that caused him to lose control & have a accident? We dont know that now do we? I am not going to jump in to any conclusions because I was not there to know exactly what happened. & unless you where there, you shouldnt either.

I will never buy an SUV or a van, those things have a tendency to tip over much more than sedans

What a shame... We have such horrible drivers they seem to find ways to wreck solo. How can someone just loose control of their vehicle just like that? Probably in a rush to see his escort.

Ejected..Tell me how a person can be ejected when the law clearly states that all persons in a vehicle must wear seat belts. I'm glad he's in stable condition but if he failed to wear his belt I hope they ticket him for it, you might call it too much but maybe if he has this ticket, along with his totaled SUV, he'll remember to buckle up.

Was this driver DRUNK? If he was, I'm not surprise, it's "NORMAL" here in the city of DRUNK DRIVER'S! If he was not, again welcome to the city of BAD DRIVER'S. Either way, stay off the roads after midnight, lot's of idiots like these on the road, speeding, drunk or texting. Go San Antonio!
