Driver arrested following early morning crash

SAN ANTONIO -- A woman is at Methodist Hospital with bruised ribs after her car was hit by an SUV.

The accident happened just after 1:30 a.m. on San Pedro near Elmira. Police say the driver of the SUV struck the car in the intersection.

The other driver was arrested and faces DWI charges.

This drunk driving problem has gotten so ridiculous here in good ol' SA, that my brother who lives in Houston and I have bets as to how many DWI's on a given weekend there will be. So far, I'm cleaning up. Women DWI's are double or nothing. I love this town. Keep it up SA, you're making me a very rich man. LOL, what a joke this city is.
