SAN ANTONIO - Fire swept through a mobile home in the Windcrest area Thursday morning.
Fire crews received a call around 6:30 a.m. about a fully engulfed structure at the Cozy Cove Mobile Home & RV Park in the 5200 block of Crestway Road.
Emergency crews on scene said a neighbor was ticketed for parking a van too close to a hydrant next door to the fire, blocking access. Firefighters were forced to used hydrants from across the street and from around the corner.
News 4 San Antonio was told a dog and four puppies died in the fire.
