SAN ANTONIO -- Some tenants at the Cosmopolitan Apartment complex voiced concern about an increased number of deep holes in the ground and they don't believe management is doing enough to fix the drainage problems.

"You can see the mosquitoes flying out of it," said one anonymous renter.

In September, people contacted News 4 WOAI about a drainage issue and what they consider potential danger to children.

"How can we have our kids playing around when they turn a corner, all of a sudden boom. They're in a hole. I don't want to see no kids in a hole," insisted the tenant.

In September apartment manager Sandra Mier said plumbers were working on the problems, but since then the crews have uncovered a much larger problem and need to replace several drainage pipes.

This problem could easily be more serious that it would appear to be on the surface. It is not natural for a lot of holes to open up in the ground. This story would cause one to believe that the holes were dug by plumbers, but plumbers usually have a reason to dig holes and then they fill them up afterwards. If there are a lot of holes around an apartment complex, they could be portals to Hell. The article doesn't say exactly where this place is, but I imagine it to be in one of the more devilish areas of town, which are too numerous to list here. It would be good to know if there has been an increase of drinking, gambling, fighting, public urination, fornication, stealing and other sins in the neighborhood around this location. Then we would know for sure. Since that information is not available, maybe we ought to go on and fill up those holes. I think that's what Jesus would do.
