UVALDE, Texas -- Despite all of our recent rain, Uvalde County is under Stage Three water restrictions for the first time ever.

The 10-day running average level of the Uvalde Pool, which is part of the Edwards Aquifer, has slipped below the trigger mark of 845.

That means people in Uvalde County, including the city of Uvalde, can only water every other week according to their scheduled garbage pickup day.
