Deputy charged with DWI

SINTON, Texas -- A Bexar County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Deputy Margie Miranda was arrested by a Department of Public Safety trooper in San Patricio County on Saturday.

Miranda is now on administrative leave pending an investigation.

What? The question is is she going to jail if found guilty. Probably not. You have to have multiple DUI's before you get actual jail time, at least in Bexar County. I'm going to watch what San Patricio County does about it beside her loss of freebies.

Woohoo, glad they caught this poor excuse of a deputy off the streets. Doubt though she will get any serious consequences.

Wow! About to lose her job because of drinking and driving. Loss of benefits, all the free meals while in uniform, and so much more.
