Good job brother! Enjoy unemployment. Another deputy makes every other law enforcement officer look like garbage. Even "glad1" thinks the police chief is your boss. The police Chief is appointed by City Council. The Sheriff, who is this idiots boss, is elected. That would be Sheriff Ortiz. Not saying SAPD doesn't have it's problems at all, but how is the Police Chief responsible for a Sheriff Deputies actions? Chief McManus can't fire a BCSO deputy. Education is the key when you go to the polls in November there 'glad1'.

Fire this low life , is this the type of police officers we have ? God forbid than we surely need a new police chief ,if this piece of $&@;) go back on the force the police chief should loose his job also in my opinion, this city is going to the dogs with this kind of police protection, I know who I won't vote for in the upcoming elections if this keeps up , We have to have one of the worst police forces in the nation if this joker goes back to work ,it is a reflection on all the police officers here , fire this s.o.b.now ! My opinion.

All of you know darn good and well that San Antonio babies the drunk and driving. He will have to be stopped for this at least three or four more times before, maybe, something will be done, like, jail. He may lose his job but maybe not. Ortiz needs backup from all of his deputies just to stay out of jail.

He should be happy he wasn't a civilian, he would have had plenty of road rash & bruises. Where is he going to turn in his badge, gun, & uniform?
