NEW YORK (AP) - Twinkies could be back on the supermarket shelves by summer.
Hostess is moving ahead with plans to sell the rights to make the spongy cream-filled snacks.
The bankrupt company had earlier said there would be an auction for those rights, but now it says there's only been one qualified bid for the cakes, which also include Ding Dongs and Ho Hos.
Metropoulos & Co. and Apollo Global Management have made a joint offer of $410 million for the cakes.
A hearing to approve the purchase is set for March 19.
