'Day of the Dead' lights up Woodlawn Lake

See the two of you are idiots blaming everything on someone else maybe you should take the butt plugs out and have a good time. My question to you two are you dying to live or just living to die? I mean seriously I have fought in the wars and I can tell you this much if there is a god he sure as hell does not care about if you follow a damn book but rather what you do with your life to make the world its self a better place and so far you two have done nothing but hide behind a computer and spit hate at others. You call your self christians but really you are not and you should be ashamed of yourseves for ever saying you are one, you arent even adults just little kids. Time to grow up

They might as well call this what it really is: The Day of the Devil. People who go around trying to conjure up spooks and haints are cavorting with the devil. People who are dead and gone do not come back to the earth if they have gone to heaven because there's no reason to. Those people who come back for any reason have either gone to hell, or they are on their way to hell. If you see your grandma walking around after she has died, you can rest assured that she did not make it to heaven, and that she is there to stir up trouble and cause harm. She's probably there to get you to go to hell with her. Why would anyone want to encourage this by inviting them back? All they food they cook and the altars they build for these dead folks serve as nothing but offerings to the devil. If all the skeleton heads and pictures of monsters and spooks don't cue people in that this is a celebration of the devil and hell, I can't imagine what will. Doing anything that honors the devil is a direct attack on the Lord and the Kingdom of Heaven. If you go out to that lake to summon dead people to eat sacrificial offerings that you cooked, you will be joining those people in hell one of these days.

When people pass, they either go to Heaven or Hell. There is no floating around and communing with their friends, family and neighbors. The Lord has made this clear. There is no point in trying to put on some kind of a show at a lake or anywhere else because dead people can't see it and if they could they wouldn't care to look. They are either busy with God and Jesus or they are in Hell burning up. When the Lord sees these alters to the dead, He gets angry. He has said that there will be no worshipping of other Gods. All those people who pray to saints and dead people will have to go to Hell, because that is the place God keeps for people who don't heed His word. The article says the Indians are to blame, but I am not so sure. Some people like to blame the Indians for everything, but I haven't known of a lot of Indians who worship dead people. In fact, I haven't known any. I think this whole thing is just some Romans trying to start trouble. Some people think things like this are quaint and picturesque, but remember- "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day"- Psalm 7:11. The Lord is watching and He knows what you are up to. Do not take the chance of angering Him, as an explaination will eventually be required and Hell awaits the wicked.
