SAN ANTONIO - Good deeds, spirituality, and a little prayer is going on at one local bread bank Downtown. Albert Flores stopped by "Daily Bread" to show us how the whole program works. Click here to watch...

Daily Bread Ministries (DBM) is a faith-based food ministry that began providing services in 1996. Since its beginnings, DBM has quietly become the major supplier of rescued food to San Antonio's often overlooked and frequently underserved "poorest of the poor." Their  efforts to supply free food and other goods to churches and compassion organizations has grown to over 200 partners.

DBM has the ability to efficiently collect food resources in a timely manner and prepare them for redistribution through their central warehouse with the help of a large volunteer network. Over the last five years, DBM has averaged collecting and redistributing more than four million pounds of food annually.
