This is really dumb. I can't believe we allow people to waste tax dollar resources on stupid lawsuits like this. The mark of the beast? Really?!?! Give me a break. The two have nothing to do with each other. She just doesn't want to wear the badge because it makes it so much harder to skip class. If you want to go that school she needs to wear the badge. Its not like God is going to deny her entry to heaven over this.

If you are too religious to follow the rules, maybe its time to look into home schooling. You have the right to be as religious or not religious as you want. Your religion, however, does not give you the right to do whatever you want. Schools and the disctricts are responsible for the kids during school hours and the RFID tags are a tool to help protect your children. I would understand this argument if you also tell me that the family does not use the internet (IP address), cell phones (GPS), Navigation in the car (GPS), or other similar devices with similar technology. The RFID chip has a limited range so it only works on and around the school so they can't track you at home or away from school. On the flip side, if this child was ditching and getting into trouble every day the parents would sue the school or the district for not doing enough to keep track of the kids. The school has to act in the best interest of ALL of the kids. There can't be special rules for each kid so you either follow the rules or go to a different school.

wow so many non religious people have so much to say about this subject.. From my end its pointless to even try and explain the reasoning behind it because people who oppose this issue are so closed minded and non religious.. Read my previous posts then come back and we can try and have an actual discussion about this.. other than that, you people are just spewing hate~ @Superspurs- if we are not in the Great Tribulation then tell me the signs of when it should be near that the Bible forewarns us about? because when I read the news and see whats going on in this world, That is what I see..

I just read Revelation 13. The mark of the beast is a brand on ones forehead or hand received during the Tribulation. Last time I checked while these are troubling times, it is not the Tribulation. This guy is a fanatic freak who desperatley wants to be a "discovered" televangelist.

so i am assuming that she also does not carry a cell phone since they have gps and phone calls are tracked or the family does not own a vehicle with navigation since of course this is tracked also,or they dont use the internet since ip address pretty much tells you where you are and what you are doing also. All that they are doing is trying to make a big deal and get their 15 minutes in the news. Just go to school and quit wasting everones time and tax money

it wasn't the government who took prayer and God out of school, it was the atheist, and it's not the government and atheist who keep it out of schools, it's the Christians. My niece and I pray each and every time I eat lunch with her at school, AND believe it or not, I've had conversations with her friends both last year and this year.... (don't get yer panties up in a wad ppl, the kids are from families who are Christians) WE THE PEOPLE are the Christians who aren't speaking up and out and who are afraid of negative human retribution. When WE THE PEOPLE teach our children to be strong in their faith with and for God and not to fear what human's can do to them for speaking the truth, then WE THE PEOPLE will have God back into our schools and government..... just sayin'
