SHINER, Texas (AP) - A young Texas father who beat to death his 5-year-old daughter's alleged molester frantically screams on a dramatic 911 call that the man needs help.
A Lavaca County grand jury Tuesday declined to indict the father in the killing of 47-year-old Jesus Mora Flores. He was beaten to death June 9 at the father's ranch where authorities said Flores had been hired to help care for horses.
Authorities also released the 911 tape in which the 23-year-old father cries over the dying man he pummeled. He screams at a dispatcher, telling her, "This guy is going to die on me! I don't know what to do!"
The Associated Press is not identifying the father in order to protect the daughter's identity. The AP does not identify victims of sexual assault.
