"no way to monitor the facebook accounts of 154,000 inmates" , Seriously?! How about not allowing them to facebook (or use internet) at all?!!!

Who is the idiot that allows inmates to access Facebook and why are taxpayers paying for this kind of computer use? These people aren't in prison because they have good intentions and this sounds very dangerous giving them access to a public site such as Facebook. I don't want them communicating with my family and friends. Who knows what they might do with any information they are able to gain this way?

Seriously? Inmates have access to Facebook? And worse guards and inmates can be friends? That is nuts. I knew inmates had some internet access to work on high school diplomas or college degrees but I didn't realize they could just surf the web. Geez.
