DALLAS, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboy's wide receiver Dez Bryant will face misdemeanor charges for allegedly assaulting his mother back in July.

His mother asked that charges be dropped, but the Dallas County District Attorney says decided to pursue charges anyway.

Officials say Bryant may also have to do community service and undergo counseling.

Cases like that really have sex appeal. Look at all the scum in San Antonio committing murders and assaults all the time and the DA many a time decides to water down the charges or drop them all together. Had it been some unknown POS it would have never even made to first base.
