I enthusiasticly agree that bicycle riders have as much right to be on the road as car drivers. I believe that a set of premade headstones should be made available to publicize their plight. They could say things like, "It wasn't his fault" or "He had the right of way" or "Cars should stay in their lanes". In this fashion, we can properly memorialize those brave souls who ride bicycles on the road.

siampat When bicycle riders must have a bicycle operators license, buy license plates, inspection sticker, pay insurance, and are subject to traffic tickets for say "running a red light", then you have a valid point. Since you don't talk to the hand!

Maybe the cylist did something stupid like pulling out in front of a taxi. Oh my, you mean the 3 foot law didn't protect him from getting hit by a car? If you are going to ride bicycle, especially at 1am you had better whatch what you are doing and watch what everybody else doing too if you value your life.
