SAN ANTONIO -- The Better Business Bureau is receiving complaints about an area credit repair company.
Consumers say "Word of Mouth Credit Repair" took their money for services they did not deliver. The Helotes-based company has now received an "F" rating from the BBB.
If you are having trouble paying your bills, contact your creditors yourself first to see if they will work out a deal with you. If you still want to consult with a credit repair company, take the time to check out the company and view their Better Business Bureau score. Also, you should not pay any large fees upfront and never pay in cash.
