Crane breaks down, leaks fluid onto Downtown street

SAN ANTONIO -- Crews had to clean up a fluid spill Downtown Thursday morning.

A San Antonio Fire Department spokesperson said a crane broke down in the middle of the intersection of Interstate 37 and Cesar Chavez Boulevard around 8:45 a.m. Thursday. The crane began leaking some sort of hydraulic fluid, causing a traffic hazard.

No accidents or injuries were reported.
