SAN ANTONIO - Die-hard Cowboys fans took over the Alamodome Tuesday night.The Cowboys Camp Kickoff party started at 7:00 pm but people began lining up as early as 3:00 in the afternoon. Many of the fans were from right here in San Antonio. We were also able to find a few others who drove for hours to be at the celebration. One fan had Cowboys tattoos all over his body. He also brought pictures of his home which is covered in Cowboys paraphernalia. He said he wouldn't miss this event for the world.
Michael Trevino told News 4 WOAI, “Just to see my Cowboys here in San Antonio is just like a dream come true. I’m in heaven. I’m in Cowboys heaven."
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, a country band and the tejano band Intocable performed at the party. Some of the players even stepped up to talk to fans.
