Couple robbed at park by group of teens

SAN ANTONIO -- A couple was robbed at a West Side park early Thursday.

Investigators say a couple was sitting inside their car at Heritage Park, near Hayloft Lane and Ellison Drive, when four teens walked up to them around 2:00 a.m. Thursday. The teens pulled a gun and stole the couple's wallets, cell phone, car stereo, and speakers. The teens then took off on foot after firing a warning shot.

No one was injured.

The teens are still on the loose.

mmore: The guy was trying to get his gun, so having a complete arsenal wouldn't have helped these two and guns don't fix stupid. I carry, but I don't do stupid things and parked in a lonely spot at 2:00AM is not smart. The woman was lucky she kept her virginity and both of them, their lives. But the story reeks of fish left in a hot garbage can for 3 days.

The NoTell Motel would have been cheaper. Ur gonna take the stereo & speakers, but not the whole car? Rookies. Let me guess, too young to drive, but not to carry a gun!

I would ho say that anywhere on the West Side at 2:00am might be call for watching your back. They took car stereo and speakers and then fled on foot? And somehow no one saw any of this walking down the road. Next time you want 'Lovers Lane', might pick a safer spot.
