SAN ANTONIO -- A husband and wife are dead following a shooting at their home off Spring Mist on the Northeast side Wednesday just before 6 p.m. Wednesdsay.

The victims have been identified as 52-year-old Robert Snyder and 50-year-old Beatrize Snyder.

A suspect was arrested around 7:30 p.m. a few miles away from the crime scene at an H-E-B parking lot off Nacogdoches Road and O'Connor Road. Police say the man was a business associate of the couple, who owned a grease collection business.

Officers said the couple's 20-year-old daughter was in the house at the time of the shooting and was able to escape through a window. She confirmed the suspect did arrive in a rental car, but fled on foot.

She confirmed the suspect did arrive in a rental car...why do you always include these irrelevant details? Why not also mention what color it was and the brand of tires on it? Geez.
