HUNT, Texas - The wife of a Kerr County commissioner was hit and killed in the parking lot of a church.
Vickie Oeler, wife of Bruce Oeler, was hit by a van on Sunday after church services at Hunt Methodist Church in Hunt. Police said a driver lost control when the accelerator of the van became stuck. The van hit four cars and crashed into Oeler, who was 68.
She died at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
The driver's name has not been released.
The crash is under investigation.
