SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio may have hosted the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Sunday, but that didn't keep one country star from participating.

Jo Dee Messina didn't just perform at the marathon, she also ran in it.
"San Antonio asked me to come down, and I was like 'Absolutely'. And why? Cause it's flat! Mostly flat. There's a few hills in there," Messina told us.
Messina also says she and her family were able to tour our city and visited the River Walk and The Alamo.
