KERRVILLE, Texas -- A camp counselor accused of sexually assaulting three children is now being investigated by the FBI.

Scott Zirus remains in the Kerr County Jail on Wednesday morning with a $300,000 bond.

Investigators say the Australian native assaulted three young boys this summer at Camp Stewart in Hunt, that’s west of Kerrville.

The FBI is getting involved because investigators think there may be more victims here and in Australia.

If convicted, Zirus could face life in prison.
